Katherine Sibley-Denne
Katherine has lived in High Wycombe since 2012 after moving from London to start her family, and joined the Board of Trustees in October 2020. She's worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Katherine enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, introducing her son to various current and historic cultures around the world. She is also an active member and treasurer of the Friends of Chepping View.

Steve has been a Trustee of the Academy for more than 8 years and brings to the board more than 20 years professional experience in IT, Project Management and Sales across global and UK companies and government departments. Steve is a parent of 3, one of whom is currently a pupil at CVPA, the other 2 being former pupils who have moved on to local secondary schools. Steve moved to High Wycombe in 2009 and has been involved with Chepping View Academy for more than 10 years. In his free time Steve enjoys keeping fit and spending time with his family outdoors in the local area and travelling further afield.

I was first elected as a Councillor in 1991 and have been a member of Wycombe District Council, Buckinghamshire County Council and now the new Buckinghamshire Unitary Council, representing the same area for all that
I have held many positions in my time as a councillor from Committee Chairman to Leader and Chairman of Council. I had the honour of being Mayor of the town of High Wycombe in 1994/5 and Deputy Mayor 2021/22. So, a very varied, interesting and exciting career as a councillor, which culminated in my being awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in May 2013. In 2021 I was invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). I am a Charter Trustee for the unparished area of the town of High Wycombe.
I am involved in my community as a school governor, in local charities, the local neighbourhood forum, resident’s associations, and the local community board.
I am married, we have three daughters and four grandchildren. In my spare time, which is somewhat limited, I enjoy reading, cooking and travelling with my husband.

Ali Mian
I am a Chartered Accountant but have spent the majority of my career in the Finance transformion space within Banking. Regulatory reporting and governance is an area I focus on and I feel this allows me to contribute and add value as a trustee. I also co-chair the Finance and Risk Committee.In my spare time I love spending time with my family, and keeping fit at the gym. I enjoy playing table tennis, and squash as well. -

Gilly is a qualified legal professional and mum, who joined the Trust in 2020. Her son attends Abbey View Primary Academy and Gilly is well connected with the school parent community and keen to represent their interests at Academy meetings.
In her spare time, Gilly enjoys walking her cocker spaniel and going to the gym.

Revd. David Allsop
I lived in High Wycombe as a child and was educated at the Royal Grammar School. My first career was in the Royal Navy for thirteen years; I then worked in Defence contracting before changing my career path and becoming a Youth Worker in Wycombe. I was ordained as an Anglican Minister in 1999 and worked in churches in and around Little Chalfont; amongst my many other duties, I was a governor in a Church School until I retired.
I am still active as a town centre chaplain in Aylesbury and serve on the Executive of a youth charity. I am married to Elizabeth and we have three adult children and seven grandchildren. My pastimes are reading, writing, walking and the allotment!

Chikamgaefe (Kam) Ahumibe
Kam moved to High Wycombe in 2014 and lived there up until 2020 when she moved to Kingsbrook, Aylesbury with her family. Kam currently lives with her husband and their three children, two of which attend Kingsbrook View Primary Academy.
Kam is a Legal Compliance and Governance professional and has worked in various sectors performing similar roles for over 8 years. In her spare time, Kam loves to read, travel and cook delicious meals for her family.

Matt has joined the IFPT Board of Trustees in 2023, a year after becoming the Chair of the PTA at Chepping View. Having attended Chepping View (formally known as Shelburne & Lansdowne School) alongside his two brothers he now enjoys giving back to the school he loved whilst also watching his two daughters moving through the school. Having a background of 25+ years in the technology sector and an impressive record of leading teams to drive business development and overachieve against targets, Matt is an expert in securing new multi-million pound deals with a consultative approach to the highest standards, engaging at C-Level with customers. Passionate and committed to maximising opportunities, increasing sales and profitability, and strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all level.

Zara Sohail
Zara joined the Board of Trustees in 2023, in addition to becoming Chair of the PTFA at Abbey View, when her son started attending the school.
Zara is interested in playing a vital role in shaping the education system in her community and advocating for students as well as parents and teachers needs and interests. She has over 11 years professional experience at a multinational pharmaceutical company in a variety of finance and risk management roles.
Zara enjoys keeping fit, travelling, and spending time with her family.

I joined the IFPT Board of Trustees in 2023 and was appointed as Chair of Abbey View Primary Academy Committee. I have been teaching in secondary schools for 15 years, with my longest serving role as Head of English in an Outstanding school in London. I am now Head of Inclusion and training to be a SENCO.
I look forward to working with the Trust and in particular with AVPA staff and parents to support and advocate for our children, as I feel strongly that an enriching education and school experience is the key to building a secure foundation for children to have a happy, fulfilling life.
My eldest son attends Abbey View in Year One and my youngest son is starting school next year. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my children, reading, travelling, and cooking

Andy Foweather
Andy has lived in High Wycombe since 2015, moving with his family from Gerrards Cross and joined the Academy Committee in July 2022. He worked for the majority of his career in FMCG with over 11 years experience as a UK & Ireland and EMEA region commercial board director for General Mills. For the last four years Andy is leading a boutique business consultancy with offices in HIgh Wycombe and Toronto. Andy is an active parent, with two daughters, one attending Abbey View and the other at Wycombe High School. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
