At IFPD, we are proud to deliver the majority of professional development for IFPT academies, while also extending our training and development opportunities to all educators, schools, and organisations who wish to participate. Our programmes are open, accessible, and designed to support anyone committed to improving outcomes for children and young people.

We believe strongly that high-quality CPD should be available to teachers, teaching assistants, leaders and governors at excellent value. Our mission is to provide meaningful, research‑informed development that can be accessed both locally and across a wider region. 

Over time, our offer has grown to meet the evolving needs of schools. In addition to our comprehensive CPD programme, we also provide:

• SEND consultancy – expert guidance to help schools meet the needs of all learners.
• Safeguarding reviews – rigorous, supportive evaluations to ensure robust and compliant safeguarding practice.
• Behaviour support and reviews – tailored advice, audits, and strategies to help create positive, inclusive learning environments.
• Independant Review Panel Training - covers the duties of Independent review Panel (IRP) members and Clerks as outlined in the DfE Suspensions and Exclusions Guidance. It will take participants through the process, step by step with a model agenda and guidance documents, to ensure legal compliance.
